Covington Family Dentistry was established in 1976 by Dr. Melvin Baker, with the goal of providing the people of Covington, GA and surrounding areas with quality dental services in a warm, welcoming environment. In late 2012, Dr. John Hendricks took over ownership of the practice, and as of late 2017, Dr. Doreen C. Wilson purchased the practice. We continue to provide the same quality of service and care for each of our patients.
Our practice has since grown and expanded to better serve our patients and their families. Our mission is to provide the highest standard in preventative, restorative and cosmetic dental services, to help you have a healthy, beautiful smile for a lifetime.

DR. DOREEN C. WILSON
Dr. Doreen C. Wilson is a family dentist who has extensive training in all phases of dentistry, especially in prosthetic dentistry. She graduated from Howard University in 1984 and completed specialty training in Cosmetic Dentistry and Implants from Columbia University in 1989. She has been practicing for over 25 years in several private practices, and for the past year, she has been practicing with Dr. John Hendricks as an Associate Dentist. Dr. Wilson purchased Covington Family Dentistry from Dr. John Hendricks in 2017. Her practice philosophy is to focus on preventive care and to make every effort to help her patients KEEP THEIR TEETH FOR A LIFETIME. She seeks to partner with all our patients and educate you to ensure an understanding of the importance of optimum oral health and how it affects your overall physical health and wellbeing. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

DR. JOHN HENDRICKS
Dr. John Hendricks is an Atlanta native and earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Microbiology at the University of Georgia. He then went on to earn his dental degree from Emory Dental School in 1987. Dr. Hendricks purchased the dental practice of Dr. Melvin O. Baker in late 2012.
Over the past 26 years, Dr. Hendricks has continued his education in all fields of dentistry with well over 750 hours of continuing education credits. He has trained at the Las Vegas Institute for neuromuscular occlusion and cosmetic dentistry and at the Ross Nash Institute for restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Hendricks is an Invisalign® provider and often utilizes CAD-CAM restorative techniques.
Dr. Hendricks has he has two adult children and enjoys golf and Atlanta sports in his off time.
