THOMAS J. PIZZOLO, DDS
The best part of practicing dentistry is the one-on-one relationships I’ve had the pleasure of building with each individual patient I see.
I love working with people and helping them to have a positive, comfortable dental experience.
I understand that no one really wants to come to the dentist, but it is my goal to give patients the care they need while showing them that dentistry is really not that bad.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science, Biological Sciences – SUNY Stony Brook
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – New York University College of Dentistry
As a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, I am dedicated to continuing education. It allows me to maintain the proper standard of care for my patients, and they deserve nothing less. In addition, I am also a member of several additional professional organizations that provide me with many opportunities to learn about the newest and best dental technology.
- American Dental Association
- New York State Dental Association
- Ninth District Dental Association
- Rockland County Dental Society
- Association of Military Surgeons of the United States
I have been in private dental practice for over 25 years and have been in the US Air Force Reserves for the past 13.
I am proud of my affiliation with the 514 Air Mobility Wing at McGuire Air Force Base, NJ, where I am the Chief of Dental Services, supervising the dental needs of 2500 Airmen.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
I am originally from Brooklyn, NY, and have been practicing in Orangeburg since 2002. My wife of 25 years, Dawn, and I have two children: Kevin and Kristen. When not spending time on Air Force duty, I enjoy hiking, running, and enjoying nature with my family.
