Meet the Doctors

  • Dr.
    Kirk A. Turner DDS, PA

Dr. Turner received his B.S. and D.D.S. degrees from Loma Linda University. He is originally from Upland California, but has been the owner of Clemmons Family Dental for over 27 years. He is married, and has two children. In his free time, he enjoys restoring automobiles, and he has an exceptional knowledge of history of all types. Hub and Boomer are his sweet fur babies that are also known as Golden Retrievers. Sparky is the senior on the farm and is a Golden Doodle. Don’t tell them they are dogs—they have NO clue 😊. Dr Turner's newest hobby is that of being a budding Oenophile. Dr Turner loves to help patients maintain their dental health and believes in treating patients just as he would want to be treated.

  • Dr.
    Sahana Peoples DDS

Born in India and raised in Richmond Virgina, Dr Peoples attended Medical College of Virginia for dental school.  Following graduation, she taught freshman operative dentistry at MCV for two years while also working in a private practice. Dr. Peoples moved to the Winston Salem area in 2000, and has practiced in the area ever since. She is married to Dr. Carl Peoples, and has three children; Langston, Maya and Bodhi.  In addition to her family, she also has Lila (dog), Dezi (cat), and Peach (Bearded Dragon lizard.) Outside of work Dr Peoples enjoys yoga, tennis, cooking, reading and watching her children play sports.  A recent accomplishment, that was a “bit of a stretch” is the completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher certification class! 😉

  • Dr.
    Ashley Schofield DMD

Dr. Schofield received her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and her DMD from East Carolina University.  She grew up in the BBQ capital of Lexington NC.  She is happy to be practicing close to her home town.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, working out and keeping up the farm.  She is the ultimate dog whisperer to Kona, Chelsea, Athena and Bane.  They adore her, and the time they spend outside roaming the land.  The best of times for Dr Schofield is riding and loving her horses, JB and Marquise.  Dr. Schofield looks forward to educating her patients on oral health and forming relationships of honesty and trust.  She also looks forward to any day that there is Tacos and Queso involved 😉
