COVID-19 UPDATE MESSAGE FROM DR. YAMAGUCHI

We hope this letter finds you in good health and good spirits. Our thoughts are with all of those who may have suffered during these past few weeks. As our nation and community starts to heal from the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize many businesses in our community will be opening their doors again. As your health advocate and ally, we want to take a moment to share a few updates with you.

This past month, we have remained open as an essential business for urgent care and dental emergencies but limited our treatment options for regular cleanings and dental care. We did this to ensure that every physician and nurse had the need surplus of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to treat COVID-19 patients.

It has been an honor to support our fellow healthcare workers who were on the front line of this battle in this small way. As things have no begun to level out, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is in high supply in our area and we are able to begin full services and treatments for our patients without diminishing any equipment or supplies needed for the continued treatment of COVID-19.

Your safety and health have always been our greatest priority. Universal precautions have been expanded with added measures to continue to provide a thoroughly clean environment. Our team is proud to follow all ADA, CDC, and other reputable guidelines in our practice, making our business clean and safe our patients. allows us to provide essential dentistry that will prevent dental decay, sensitivity, or a need for more complicated treatment.

Steps we're taking to protect you and your loves ones 

DAILY PRESCREENING OF PATIENTS AND STAFF 

• Patients with COVID-19 symptoms will not be treated in our office.  
• Every patient, co-visitors, and staff member is screened daily for COVID-19 risk factors including recording temperature.  

SOCIAL DISTANCING 

• Patients are encouraged to wait in the parking lot instead of the waiting area.  
• All patients and co-visitors are encouraged to wear masks unless actively being treated.  

OFFICE DISINFECTION 

• All countertops, door handles, and commonly handled surfaces are disinfected after every patient.  
• Operatories are disinfected with CDC approved COVID-19 killing agents. 
• Medical grade H13 HEPA air filters remove 99.97% of airborne particles.   

PROCEDURAL SAFETY 

• All patients wash hands and use an anti-viral mouth rinse before every procedure. 
• Dental isolation and vacuum devices are being used to minimize and capture aerosols. 
• All staff is utilizing CDC approved COVID-19 PPE equipment and protocols
