Dental Staff

At Queen City Dental Arts, we love getting to know all of our patients and consider them our dental family.  You'll always be greeted with a familiar face when you come through the door at our office, and we're excited for you to know more about us too!

  • Kristin
    Office Manager

A Charlotte native, Kristin has spent her entire dental career working with Dr. Pourlos before his retirement in 2018.  She has been a dental hygienist for 23 years and now has stepped into the role of office manager.  Kristin and her husband, Randy, have two daughters, Emma and Elena, and a dog, Tebow.  Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, working with preschool children at her church, being involved with church activities, and somehow still finds time and energy to go to 4M Fitness.

  • Kimberly
    Dental Assistant

Kimberly is originally from Staten Island, NY. She moved to NC at the age of 10 and loves it here. She graduated with honors from Fayetteville Community College in 2002. Her passion is helping people and she does her best to make sure your visit at the dentist is a pleasant one. She has a heart for the anxious patient and strives to put your fears at ease. She is a wife, and a mother of one grown son and two toy poodles. Kimberly spends her time with friends and family, enjoys music and dancing, the beach, traveling, and ice skating.

  • Brandy
    Dental Assistant

Brandy is originally from Utah but spent half her childhood in Alabama. She began her dental career in Birmingham, AL in her late 20s and, after a couple of years, was ready for a new challenge in the field. She decided Charlotte, NC was just the place. Brandy has an enormous heart and compassion towards her patients, and she truly thrives when she is able to help them in some way.  Most of her spare time is consumed by her Frenchie, and, in the remainder of her time, Brandy is all about the outdoors, swimming, exploring, boating, hiking and biking. She is truly excited to get to meet all of the patients here at Queen City Dental Arts.

  • Lisa
    Registered Dental Hygienist

You'll always be welcomed by Lisa's smile when you come into our office for your cleanings.  She has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and worked with Dr. Pourlos for 10 of those years before he retired.  When not cleaning teeth, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Greg, her son, Harrison, her daughter and son in law, Emily and Dale, and her dog, Paisley.  She and her family enjoy traveling, going to the beach and boating.  When football season comes, you can catch her and her husband hosting 60-100 people for tailgates at every home Panthers game.  Go Panthers!

  • Jennifer
    Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer moved to Charlotte from NY in 2009. While working in the dental lab, she attended dental hygiene school and graduated at the top of her class. She effortlessly creates relationships with her patients while being passionate about educating and helping them understand the importance of their oral care. She finds it gratifying when she sees a difference in a patient’s oral health as a result of their combined efforts. Her love of dental hygiene ignites her desire and ability to put nervous patients at ease. When not busy caring for her patients, Jennifer enjoys soccer, mountain biking, golfing, tennis, boot camp, gardening and cooking, along with volunteering in the community. She also fosters dogs so you will almost never see her without giving love to a fur baby.
