What should I expect from my in-office teeth whitening procedure?
When you come in for your teeth whitening we will put a protective shield over your gums to prevent bleaching agents from coming in contact with sensitive tissue. Then we will apply a heavily concentrated bleaching gel over your teeth. Once that’s finished, we will shine a laser over your teeth to activate the gel and start the whitening process. This will only take 15 minutes. Once the 15 minutes are up, we will remove the gel, apply a new whitening gel coat over your teeth and shine the laser on your smile once more. We will do this three times for a total of 45 minutes during one visit.
When will I see the results? How long will they last?
You should see results immediately after your first session. For many patients, only one treatment is necessary to achieve the smile they want; however, for those with more severe stains, more than one visit might be necessary.
